This app allows doorbell event notifications and intercom functions, but it requires a connection to remote servers through the wifi router. The app is also loaded with advertising.
After uninstalling the app, it does not seem possible to add the device again. There are 4 options: Scan QR code, add device manually, smart addition, and wired connection.
* There is no QR code on the camera to scan.
* "Add device manually" assumes the camera is connected to the LAN via WIFI, not wired.
* "Smart addition" also assumes the connection is over WIFI.
* "Wired connection" requires a password for the camera. I don't have a record of a password if I ever entered one for the camera. There is no default password printed on the camera or the package that it came in.

Yoosee mobile app[edit]

This app allows doorbell event notifications and intercom functions, but it requires a connection to remote servers through the wifi router. The app is also loaded with advertising.

After uninstalling the app, it does not seem possible to add the device again. There are 4 options: Scan QR code, add device manually, smart addition, and wired connection.

  • There is no QR code on the camera to scan.
  • "Add device manually" assumes the camera is connected to the LAN via WIFI, not wired.
  • "Smart addition" also assumes the connection is over WIFI.
  • "Wired connection" requires a password for the camera. I don't have a record of a password if I ever entered one for the camera. There is no default password printed on the camera or the package that it came in.
