Disabling default audible alerts
There is an annoying telephone ringing noise that plays when the doorbell is pressed.
This can be disabled by blocking the doorbell from WAN and thus the Yoosee servers. [1]
Determine the IP address the doorbell on the LAN
The router shows the doorbell as "unnamed" along with its Mac address. If there is another device without a host name, it is impossible to determine which one is the doorbell.
See Viewing Device Names on a LAN. Yoosee SD-M5 is listed as "Shenzhen Gwelltimes Technology Co.,Ltd".
Password prompt in Yoosee app
Symptom
The Yoosee app sees the doorbell as a device on the network. While attempting to add the doorbell as a new device in the Yoosee app, the app prompts for the device password before allowing you to connect to it. There is no password available for the device, however.
Solution
TK. Reset the device?
